One for All Alaska Fund-Over $14,000 Distributed to Fight Hunger in Alaska!

In 2011, CU1 created the One for All Alaska Fund as a vehicle to raise funds for our yearly community service focus. Last year our focus was fighting hunger and communuties across Alaska came together to raise over $14,000 for hunger fighting organizations across Alaska! All the money raised in each community stayed in that community. The money was distributed to the following hunger fighting programs:

  • Dare to Care (Anchorage)
  • The Children's Lunchbox (Anchorage)
  • Chugiak Eagle River Food Pantry (Eagle River)
  • North Star Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels Program (Fairbanks)
  • Kenai Peninsula Food Bank (Soldotna)
  • Kodiak Island Food Bank (Kodiak)
  • Ketchikan Salvation Army Food Programs (Ketchikan)
  • Nome Community Food Bank (Nome)
Thank you to all who supported the One for All Alaska Fund and made this incredible level of support possible!  Stay tuned, the fund's 2012 focus will be announced very soon.
