Have you noticed our "Who Are We Helping Next?" forum at the top of the left hand sidebar? Well, Lance did! Lance is a fellow user of oneforallalaska.org, and he writes:

"Pier One Theatre has been around since 1973. It provides strong, consistent, high quality theatre for Youth, Teens, Adults, and Visitors. Check out the Frommer's Alaska listing." - Lance

So - I looked up this Pier One Theatre in Homer, and there are a LOT of exciting and interesting things happening here that invite the entire community to participate!

I noticed a "contributions" link on the webpage - but of course, the One for All team would also like to know how we can give some hands-on help to this Homer-based non-profit. I'm picturing a bunch of volunteers painting sets, cleaning up after a show, wrangling the crowd to their seats.... Lance, what do you need? And fellow One for All members, how would you like to help? 

I'm particularly interested in Lance's "who to help" suggestion because of the theatre's efforts to mix young folk and adults together in positive community activities. In my hometown, there weren't a whole lot of opportunities for teens to have fun and be creative in such a socially constructive way. What's YOUR past experience and opinion?
